Alice W. Mooney

Mrs. Mooney, 75, of the Lincroft section of Middletown, died May 24, 2009, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was a staff member at St. Leo The Great School, Lincroft, for more than 45 years, and named "Outstanding Catholic Educator" of 2000. She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Mooney Jr. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, John E. and Judy of Houston, Texas, and David and Michele of Cranbury; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Stephen Crawford of Lafayette Hill, Pa.; two sisters, Florence Hand, and Bernice Litwitz; and five grandchildren. Arrangements were by the Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Leo the Great Church, Lincroft. Interment followed at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
