Bayonet Farm Art and Music Festival set for Sept. 13

HOLMDEL — The sixth annual Bayonet Farm Art and Music Festival will be held Sept. 13 at Bayonet Farm, 41 Middletown Road, Holmdel.

The festival will feature a plein air painting competition and juried art show with works from local artists, photographers, sculptors and potters. Judges include Peter Trippi, editor of Fine Art Connoisseur, and James Yarosh, owner of the James Yarosh Associates fine art gallery in Holmdel. The gallery will feature a month-long Bayonet Farm-themed show in the display windows and interior shopping spaces at Garmany, on Broad Street in Red Bank.

Festival hours will be noon to 5 p.m. Sponsors include the Bayonet Farm Advisory Committee, the Holmdel Department of Parks and Recreation and the Monmouth County Arts Council.
