Daniel G. Falco

Daniel Falco, 15, of Middletown, died Sept. 28, 2009, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He was an honor student at St. John Vianney High School, Holmdel. Daniel was a member of the school's football and wrestling teams. He was a graduate of Thorne Middle School, Middletown. He played football for Middletown Pop Warner, and played baseball for several years as a member of the N.J. Wolfpack travel baseball team. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Filomena and Gennaro Falco. Daniel is survived by his parents, Elena and Bart Falco; a brother, Matthew Falco; his maternal grandparents, Petra and Raymond Melendez; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at Mary Mother of God Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. Interment followed at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
